What Is An Infrared Sauna ?
An infrared sauna uses gentle light waves to heat your body from the inside out — not just the air around you like a traditional sauna.
The infrared light safely penetrates your skin to warm your muscles, joints, and tissues, creating a deep, detoxifying sweat at a lower, more comfortable temperature (typically 120–150°F instead of 180–200°F).
It feels soothing and relaxing — like sunlight on your skin — without the harsh, stifling heat.
Infrared Sauna + Cold Plunge: The Ultimate Contrast Therapy
This combo alternates heat and cold exposure, creating a “vascular workout” for your body — boosting recovery, mood, and energy naturally.
Why the Combination Works: Switching between heat and cold causes your blood vessels to expand (in the sauna) and contract (in the cold plunge).
Why this combination works?
- Circulation & Recovery
- Mental Clarity & Focus
- Immunity & Hormone Balance
- Stress Relief & Mood Elevation
How often?
2–4 times per week is ideal — but even one session can reset your body and mind.
Many people do 3 rounds (sauna → plunge → sauna → plunge → rest) for maximum benefit.
How to Prepare — Before Your Session
1. Hydrate
Drink plenty of water 1–2 hours before. Hydration helps regulate temperature and prevent fatigue.
2. Eat Light
Avoid heavy meals right before your session.
A light snack (fruit, smoothie, or protein bar) is ideal.
3. Wear or Bring Comfortable Clothing
Use a swimsuit or light activewear. Bring a towel and dry clothes for after your session.
4. Shower / Remove Products
Before sauna or plunge, remove lotions, deodorant, or makeup to let your skin breathe and detox properly.
5. Set an Intention
Take a few deep breaths before starting — focus on relaxing, releasing, and resetting your energy.
